Forgetting your password is common and we know you are very busy. Contacting our help desk just to reset your password can take valuable time away from you and lets be honest a support agent sending your password over email is not best practice.
Stellar Cloud is proud to announce a new security measure that allows you to manage your passwords yourself. Each user will enroll in the password reset manager by using a verification code or answering a few questions that only they will know. Once signed up you will no longer need to contact our helpdesk for password reset assistance.
Enroll in the Stellar Cloud Password Reset Utility
When you launch the hosted app and are not enrolled a dialog will guide you to the enrollment page.
Sign in to begin the enrollment process.
Enroll your email address in the Self Service Password Reset Utility
If required add as many email address that you wish to receive the reset notification
For additional security, your corporation may require challenge questions to be set.
Answer the 3 provided security question options and click the Enroll button.
That’s it! You are now enrolled and can reset your own password. Follow the link on the Stellar Cloud login page anytime you would like to reset your password. As always our team is here to assist any time.
To reset your password at anytime follow these steps
- Log into hosting.stellar.aero
- Press the Reset Password option in the login window
- Enter your username (email address) to connect to your profile
- Input the email address you registered with and the system will send you a verification code or answer your secret questions that you set up on enrollment
- Create a new password and confirm it
